Context
In this unit we have undertaken the task of marketing where we had to
create a poster to show both our creative ability and marketing ability throughout
the process of creating the poster.
We had to bring in all aspects, such as who the artist is, which
dictated the way the poster was created and looked.
I did a poster on 6ix9ine, who is known for being very colourful.
Therefore, my poster involved a lot of very vivid bright colours to attract the
attention of the person who is reading the poster. I put the dates of the
event into black so it didn't get lost in the colour.
The upcoming task is that we have to create a box replica of a stage to
show the setting the artist would perform in due to their genre.
We started off by being put into groups orchestrated by Becca
The groups were people with a range of talents.
We decided on 6ix9ine because he was a very diverse artist that was easy
to interpret due to his very unique style and stage presence this made it easy
Evaluation
I learnt how artists used colour schemes to capture attention and what a poster needs to provide. Date, Location, Premises, Box Office etc. Promotion.
Depending on the scale of the artist the price would be more.
In the end we were all winners and Becca was pleased with what we produced.
