Unit 8 Throughout this unit we filled out multiple different papers and acquired the skills of writing a personal statement, finding out how to fill out a CV, how to make ourselves look more attractive and how to entice employers into hiring you. This has extended our knowledge for later life and has made it a lot easier for the future when I want to go and find a job. We learnt valuable lessons such as how to articulate ourselves to an employer. I learnt what my abilities are and how I can exploit them so they work in my favour. I was asked where I saw myself in a year and my answer was that I could see myself progressing onto another course and becoming more employable. Part of making myself more employable were the head shots taken of me by the photography department. They took me into a classroom and had me stand in a certain position, whilst a lot of light was beaming down on me and the photographer used a flash. It was developed...
